Today

Opening solo riff: Shows an alarm clock going off and a young teenage
girl getting out of bed. She's kinda fat and not very pretty. During the
first few notes it shows her getting ready for school, slumping around,
and frowning at herself in the mirror. Then, she goes outside and waits
for the school bus.
"Today is the greatest..."
She gets on teh bus and Billy is the bus driver, singing and smiling at
her. She doesn't smile back. As she walks down the isle, people sitting
by themselves move over so she can't sit next to them and she's forced to
sit in the front. People are shown whispering and giggling at her. 
"I wanted more..."
She gets off the bus and goes to her locker. Paint covers her locker
saying things like "bitch" and "hey fatso" things like that. She sadly
opens her locker. Then she is tapped on the shoulder by James, who is
obviously her one friend at school. She smiles back and waves, then turns
back to her locker. Just as she closes her locker a boy who's pretty hot
comes up and starts talking to her. She's amazed. He then points to a
poster advertising for the school dance and asks if she wants to go, and
she accepts, stunned. He then smiles and walks away, and she runs to find
James and tells him, whose happy for her.
"Today is the greatest, day I've ever known.."
As the second verse start is shows the girl at the mall looking at
dresses and trying them on. She's so happy. James is with her and tells
her weather or not the dresses she's trying on fit. Towards the end of
the verse she imerges from the dressing room wearing a beautiful white
gown and James gives her the thumbs up.
"Pink ribbon scars.."
Shots of the girl getting ready, then going to the dance. People all
around stare in shock at the change. James waves at her from the side,
and his date is D'Arcy who also waves. She waves back and goes to sit on
the side, waiting for her date to show up. Shots of the people dancing,
the clock at different times and the girl sitting by herself. Three hours
later she realizes he's not going to come and runs home crying.
When James turns to look ath er and sees she's not there, he gets scared
and tells D'Arcy he'll be right back. He goes running off to the girl's
house.
"I wanna turn you on.."
Shows the girl taking her dress off and hanging it neatly on a hanger.
She turns on the water in the bathtub and waits for it to fill. She goes
into her room and looks at her things, running her hands over her
nicknacks. She then looks up at a picture of Billy she has on the wall
and walks over to it, then kisses it and goes into the bathroom.
"Today is, the greatest..."
She steps into the tub and picks up the razor. Shot changes to James who
just enters her house and runs down the hall. But he is to late. She lies
dead and bleeding in the tub. Next to it is a note with his name on it.
He picks it up and opens it, and it says:

"Today is the greatest day I've ever known"

And it fades out.
