the muzzle video (there is no muzzle video)!!! here's how i'd do it-
claymation (a la wallace and gromit)!! a clay caricature of billy in his
superzero costume (through the whole thing), and clay caricatures of just
about everyone else in the vid.
okay, here's the line-by-line....

"i fear that i am ordinary, just like everyone"
billy and the band on a grassy filed, billy singing into the mike (no
guitar), the band rawkin' behind him (jimmy not matt)

"to lie here and die among the sorrows"
scene change real fast...billy in a dark, creepy cemetery, he falls down,
singing all the while....names on the tombstones=sp's sad songs

"adrift among the days"
the ground turns to water and he's floating; the sky goes from light to
dark to light continuosly real fast, indicating the passage of time

"for everything i've every said and everything i've ever done is gone and dead"
same scene (bc floating, light changes slow down some), but more
tombstones pop up--names of albums, box sets, stuff like that

"as all things must surely have to end and great loves will one day have
to part i know that i am meant for this world (here on out called
'chorus')"
billy on the field w/ the band again, singing (still no guitar). it's daytime

"my life has been extraordinary"
billy walking down a road, people appear (documenting his extraordinary-ness)

"blessed"
the pope, a rabbi, various religous people (btw, as billy keeps walking,
the people fade and disappear--the extra-ordinary-ness ppl are gone)

"and cursed"
billy in his 666 shirt, satan, some imps (holy ppl fading)

"and won"
billy as a boxer (w/black and silver shorts and airwalks), bloodied,
bruised, like a boxer after 29 rounds..... and a ref (james, maybe jimmy)
holding his hand in the air

"time heals but i'm forever broken"
melting, dali-esque doctor clocks and pieces of glass billys on a parking lot

"by and by the way...."
billy lying in the field (at night) w/ a far-off look in his eyes

"have you ever heard the words i'm singing in these songs"
a radio blaring these lines to some kids, who're really diggin it (so,
yes, i would guess they've been paying attention) maybe one kid's wearing
a listessa shirt :)

"it's for the girl i've loved all along"
billy and chris (that is who he's talking about, i assume) walking on a
moon-lit night, him sort of (romanticly) whispering the lines to her

"can a taste of love be so wrong"
umm, this is the part i don't know about....billy and chris kissing in the
moonlight....something romantic......it's hard to fit something like that
into muzzle....it's very....well, not soft.

"(chorus)"
same as last chorus, but with people picining in the field, listening to
the song...people in lissy shirts--karl, wristy, everyone greatly involved
in listessa (sorry to everyone i forgot!! i'm bad with names) and of
course me :)

"and in my mind as i was floating far above the clouds"
shot from the ground..billy in the superzero costume and a cape flying
thriugh the clouds (at night, cresent moon, stars)

"some children laughed i'd fall for certain"
(poser) kids pointing at bc, some rolling on the grass laughing

"for thinking that i'd last forever..."
here we cut to a close-up of billy, just the front of his body,
horizontal, looking at us, top part of the screen

"but i knew exactly where i was"
billy looks ahead of him know, and in the bottom half of the screen, on of
those "you are here" signs, but with the sp heart instead of whatever they
usually put wherever you are

"and i knew the meaning of it all"
okay, the metaphorical stuff is tough.....maybe a shot of the band (jimmy
included) having a good time in the studio...or something

"and i knew the distance to the sun"
the earth and the sun, with a ruler in between them.... :)

and i knew the echo that is love"
bc and chris kissing again, from earlier on in the vid

"and i knew the secrets in your spires"
a castle, lots o' spires, trees, pretty sunset, lots of light colors
because its not very dark yet

"and i knew the emptiness of youth"
uhhh, mayhaps a shot of billy and the band at their first show (with jimmy
and everything, not a drum machine, not at that polish bar, either)

"and i knew the solitude of heart"
the sp heart

"and i knew the murmurs of the soul...."
super billy still flying, speeds onpast un, leaving a white flash of light

btw--from "but i knew exactly where i was" to know, the images have been
shooting forward one after the other in the bottom part of the screen....

"and the world is drawn into your hands"
billy and the band rawking in the field again, no ppl, billy with his arm
outstreched a la the tt vid

"and the world is etched upon your heart"
billy and the band on the moon, with the world in the background, and the
sp heart being drawn on it by an invisible hand

"and the world so hard to understand is the world you can't live without"
this is my fav line from muzzle (cause it's so true), so i gotta think
real hard......billy pushing away the world with one hand, and drwing it
closer with the other (two separate worlds, btw) a la the bible or torah
or whatever

"and i knew the silence of the world (for however many times he says it)"
billy and co. back on the moon, the world has a face (like the moon in the
tt vid, only nicer), and while the band and billy are rawking, the earth's
mouth zips itself up, and then it sits there smiling while the song fades
to black....
