'LILY, MY ONE AND ONLY' james sitting in a tree across from a big house 
where lily lives
'I CAN HARDLY WAIT TIL I SEE HER' james putting a pair of of binoculars 
up to his eyes and looking around
'SILLY, I KNOW I'M SILLY' james looking down and smiling in 
embarrassment, realizing what he's ding
'CAUSE I'M HANGING IN THIS TREE IN THE HOPES THAT SHE WILL CATCH A 
GLIMPSE OF ME' james swinging upside down from his legs in the tree
'AND THRU HER WINDOW SHADE I WATCH HER SHADOW MOVE' james sees the light 
turn on and lily's figure is in the window
'I WONDER IF SHE...? LILY, MY ONE AND ONLY LOVE IS IN MY HEART AND IN 
YOUR EYES' james is back at his house and is looking out the window, 
dreamily
'NO ONE KNOWS FOR SURE, BUT AN OFFICER IS KNOCKING AT MY DOOR'there's a 
knockin at james' door. he opens it and billy and d'arcy are there, 
dressed as police officers
'AND THRU HER WINDOW SHADE I WATCH HER SHADOW MOVE. I WONDER IF SHE COULD

ONLY SEE ME' it's the next day and james is back up in his tree
'AND WHEN I'M WITH HER I FEEL FINE. IF I COULD KISS HER I WOULDN'T MIND 
THE TIME IT TOOK TO FIND' james goes into a daydream imaging him and lily

together
'MY LILY, MY ONE AND ONLY I CAN HARDLY WAIT TIL I SEE HER' james comes 
out of his daydream and changes his position in the tree, as if trying to

be more alert
'OH, LILY I KNOW YOU LOVE ME COS AS THEYRE DRAGGIN ME AWAY, I SWEAR I SAW

HER RAISE HER HAND AND WAVE (GOOD BYE)' billy and d'arcy come back in 
their patrol car and pull james out of the treeand push him into the 
police car. lily looks out the window and gives james a strange look. the

car drives away.
