Landslide by SP33Zero@aol.com Opening notes- A man dressed in black overcoat, pants, parka, boots, scarf, gloves (you get the idea) is walking slowly down a country street and there is white all around him. You can only see his shiny, glassy eyes. "I took my love, I took it down" You see the man glance around, not yet in a panic, but as if searching for shelter. "I climbed a mountain and I turned around" He starts making his way up the big snow drift and when he stops unsurely, the snow beneath him collapeses and he falls into the big hill. "And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills" Suddenly he is back plodding through the snow and sees a black silhouete in the distance. "'Til the landslide brought it down" As he gets closer, the other man[?] undoes his scarf and facial obscurations. The man sees James looking coldly at him. It's as if James knows this man and has an unsettled score with him. The man continues walking toward James until he is 5 feet away then "Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love?" And suddenly, it's as if James remembers what love and forgiveness is and the coldness melts off his face as he smiles at the man. "Can the child within my heart rise above?" The camera shows them and slowly zooms away, gradually getting faster...And flashes to where a pretty woman in ponytails (D'acry) sitting by a pond where frogs jump about and cicadas sing. She looks sad and forlorn and she pulls out a picture of the man dressed in a 30's style coat and attire, (only you still can't see his face because the photo is too old and faded to make out the man, "Can I sail through the changing ocean tides? Can I handle the seasons of my life?" She starts crying softly and a hand softly rests on her shoulder...she turns to see Matt. "Well, I've been afraid of changing cause I've built my life around you" Matt pulls her up and she leaves the picture of the man on the ground (intentionally?). Flashes back to James and the man. They are walking shoulder and shoulder, reminicing and laughing (silently). `But time makes you bolder, even children get older and I'm getting older, too" A little cabin comes into view and the man with James go into it. You get the first glimpse of the man when he takes his coat off to reaveal a black longsleved shirt. He undoes his scarf and you see Billy. It flashes back to D'arcy and Matt, walking along the shore. "Well, I've been afraid of changing cause I've built my life around you time makes you bolder even children get older and I'm getting older, too I get older, too" Then D`arcy suddenly lifts off the ground and grabs Matt`s hand. The have no idea what is happening. Back in the cabin, Billy and James are looking over some pictures of friends they once knew (camera shows D`acry & Matt posing together in a photo). They both burst into tears remembering the grand times they used to have together as best friends. They silently pray that they will be reunited. Suddenly, the door swings open and D'Arcy and Matt pour in along with all the snow. They hug one another and are glad to be reunited, as friends, as a band. `I took my love and took it down, I climbed a mountain, I turned around and if you see my reflection in the snow covered hills the landslide brought it down the landslide brought it down.`
