Farewell and Goodnight by scheuerm@nvbell.net Farwell and Goodnight I thought of this last night, so all the little details are still being worked out, but I thought it would be a nifty idea with some expansion. *Invovles a lot of computer work* It starts out with a picture of the man in the moon (the set is kinda like the one for TT, cardboard cut-outs). Then the shot moves down to where Billy, D'arcy, and James are floating on the sea in a barrel. D'arcy is sitting on the edge of the barrel, and James is on his knees in the front, resting his head on his hands looking forelorn. he is wearing a indigo velvet shirt. Billy is standing behind him with an old pair of binoculars in his hands, with a dark wine-colored shirt on. They are stranded in this barrel and are longing for their loves. So the are wishing them goodnight. While they sing, the "waves" move. During the song D'arcy looks down at the water a lot, her makeup is very majestical and she is wearing a light purple, shimmery dreess. James looks foreward and off to the side of the camera, and dangling from his hand is a silver locket on a chain. When he first sings, it opens up and shimmers. Then it is pulled out of his hands and flies into the night sky, but he still is looking foreward. Every once in a while, Billy looks through the binoculars to look for land. He looks up at the sky a lot, but he also will look directly into the camera sometimes. He looks sad, but hopeful. When it comes to the part "the sun will shine", a big smiling sun pops up and they look kinda happy. "but I won't" the sun goes back down and they look sad again. This happens both times. "a silver rain", you see the rain in the background. It keeps "raining" until the end of that chorus. When the piano part starts, there is a slow pan on the band, and then the camera moves up to the night sky, flying through the stars.
