Jackboot is based on the all-too-necassary for any fan resource, The Smashing Pumpkins Bootlist compiled and maintained by fellow Jackboot conspirator, Karl Daher. Tracklistings and show information are verified by a lot of us here, but we still manage to make mistakes. If you have a copy of a disc which is incorrectly listed here, please send us the necessary corrections.

Jackboot is an independent site run by fans an is in no way affiliated to the Smashing Pumpkins other than in subject matter. We here at Jackboot do not sell bootlegs, nor do we know where to purchase them. Pay close attention to your local record shops, as that little dump down the street without lighting may be the mother load you are looking for. Bootlegs are also easily purchased over the internet, through numerous fans just like you. Watch 'The Listessa Marketplace' posted weekly on 'Listessa', and the Smashing Pumpkins newsgroup, alt.music.smash-pumpkins.

Jackboot functions because it has a purpose. It strives to be the definitive source for Smashing Pumpkins bootlegs, offline or online. There are no lyrics on this site. No fonts. No MIDI to download. Jackboot was designed for one purpose and one purpose only. We saw the need for a comprehensive Smashing Pumpkins bootlist and we took followed through with our ambitions. And what you see is the result.

Tracklistings. Show information. Album covers. Recording source. 155 bootlegs and counting.

Bah. No problem.
