Spaceboy by Zerocherry@hotmail.com Plot of video: A little boy just died and everyone is sad but eventually they realize they have to continue on. Settings: 1. Funeral Parlor 2. Cemetary3. Bench in front of cemetary, in the background you can see where the little boy is going to be buried 4. A girl's room It is a rainy day and everyone is wearing black Beginning strums A girl, about 9-10, turns on the stereo in the room. As soon as she presses power the song starts. We see the girls face, she looks like she has tears in her eyes. She sits on the floor. 12 seconds into the song we see Billy sitting on the bench (3) with his hands buried in his hands "Feel it" Billy looks behind him. The cemetary is empty. He is wearing all black and he has the hair he did in Rocket. "Break your bones" Now we see the girl sitting on her floor still (we see her from above, then cuts to her front. "Mr. Jones" She pulls a photo album out from under her bed. "Taste me" She looks through some pictures and smiles "as i bleed" she comes across a picture of a small boy, about her age. "taste my need" we see her face as she starts crying "and spaceboy I've missed you" Now we are in the funeral parlor. The view is as if we are walking past the coffin. The camera focuses on the person's face. (mellotron part) it is the little boy in the picture. "spinning round my head" now we see people sitting on couches and chairs crying "and any way you choose me, you'll break instead" Cut back to Billy. Now Jimmy (yes, Jimmy) is standing behind him in a long coat looking at the ground. D'arcy is wearing a black dress and is to Billy's right, looking at her hands. James is on Billy's left and it leaning with his head back on the bench . Billy looks straight at the camera and sings. "(guitar part)" The people at the funeral parlor are sitting in chairs as they close the curtains. "watch me" Close up on mortuary (spelling?) worker's face. He looks sad that he has this job. He's closing the curtain "death defy" A woman (supposedly the boy's mom) bursts out crying "Defile my life" Someone from behind hands her a tissue. It is D'arcy but you don't realize it's here untill she leans back into her and you see her smile. "I don't need" Back to the girl in her room. She is sobbing now. her face is buried in her hands. she gets up. "I don't care" She looks out of the window onto the street. Jimmy is out there at the bench w/ the band and he waves at her. "Please" Billy's on the bench again, by himself. He whispers it, then gives his little boy smile "I want to go home" Funeral parlor again. A small girl is crying and she cluches onto a mans sleve. "I want to go home" The girl says this "I want to go home" pan up to the man. it is James. he affectinately pats the girl's head. "I want to go home" James looks up to the ceiling and closes his eyes "cause when a lover aches" They show the coffin being taken out of the room "That's when a lover breaks" The people leave the room "I want to go home" Bench again. The whole band is there in their original positions. They all say this, disheartened. "I want to go home" Girl looking out window. Sees the funeral party driving by. (Instrumental part) We see Billy&co at the bench from the street. Cars drive by, in front of them. It's the funeral party "and spaceboy they'll kill me" The funeral party is at the coffin site. the camera pans around the crowd. They are crying. "Before I'm dead and gone" same as last line. when they pan to the road you can see the band at the bench and the girl at her window "and anyway you choose me" The girl looks at the picture of the boy in her hand. She smiles a little. "It won't be wrong" The band leaves as Billy slowly puts his face in his hands. "And anyway you choose me" We see the coffin being lowered into the ground. The sun comes out a litte bit. "We won't belong" The "mother" and the little James-clingy girl look at each other and smile a little "We won't belong" The people at the funeral smile a little and the sun comes out more. They aren't smiling psychoticly, but kinda happily. "We won't belong" Billy again. When he sings this he is almost laughing. "We won't be belong" The girl that was in her room runs to the coffin with a flower. "We won't belong" She goes to put it on the grave but instead gives it to the James-clingy girl "We won't belong" Billy is sitting on the bench smiling, leaning forward. His chin is in his hands and he just sits there like he just planned an evil conspiricy or something. The band comes back and they all sit on the bench. Billy remains the same even thought he is being smashed. The other 3 are laughing. ::::::::The end part::::::: The last 28 seconds are in high speed (like everything is going really really fast) with the little "monolague" playing in the background with no meaning to it at all. We see the people leave the funeral and drive off. Then we see the girl go back up to her room and turn on the TV. Then the view is of Billy at the bench with the rest of the band there. Jimmy leaves off of the right side of the screen, James says something and walks to the right, D'arcy puts on mascara and walks away. Billy is just sitting their, laid back. The film returns to normal speed. (Right now in the monalogue it's "I end up feeling")He sits up, looks around, smiles at the camera, and walks back into the cemetary ::::::::The End::::::::
