Bury Me by Tmyers1922@aol.com After the encounter with the mystery man again and the horrible dream therein, Drew felt sanity slipping from his fingers. (opening music) Drew was losing it, it was almost as if he could hear the music inside his head. But the music was more or less the feelings deep inside him trying to escape. 'What if my wife really doesn't know me anymore?', he thought. The music began to literally smother him, he was wiping at his face to make it go away. And then..... (boys, let's do it) (This part shows a shot of Drew staring straight at the camera thinking that line.) Like a realization, Drew thought he knew exactly what to do. (guitar music) Drew begins to look around the room like a madman looking for a way out. He had to get out. He had to do what he had to do. "Bury me in love, bury me in love" Drew at this point begans to think about burying himself. He thinks of coffins and actually dying underground. He just can't bear the thought of losing his wife's love. "Shared your kisses, take your heart, buried me and it hurts" Drew thinks back of the happy times with his wife and then of the sudden disconnection he thinks he is having now. "I love my sister so (chain, unchain), she don't smother me, (chain unchain unchain) I played the spades I know, (unchain), I'm a jack-of-all-trades, would you bury me?" Drew starts to compare his wife with his sister and finds he loves his sister much more than her. But he realizes he did marry her because he did love her......burying himself is his only answer. "Once you seen her, one inside (hide, hide), some things you just can't hide, if you see her, tell me why (why, why), why won't she come outside." Drew then realizes that maybe the reason he lost his love from his wife is because she hides her true feelings inside herself, and wonders why she won't open up. (guitar solo) This part has Drew escaping his cell through the bars of the window due to the fact they really weren't that strong. Drew finds a shovel laying next to the building across the way so....... "If you see her, tell me why (why, why), why won't she come outside? Once you see her, one inside (hide, hide) some things you just can't hide." Drew thinks one last time just why his wife is the way she is to him. At least, that's what he thought, delirium was taking a mighty big toll on him. (last guitar interlude) Drew begins to dig frantically at the ground, a smile beginning to show upon his face for one last time. "She will bury me, she will bury me" Billy sings this part off to the shadows aways from Drew. He looks forlorn and sad at him and pitys him. If Drew only knew that the only thing he lost was faith in himself.
